How to raise newly purchased succulents?

1. How to water?
Succulents can be sensitive to overwatering, and prolonged damp soil can cause root rot. Allow soil to dry out before watering again. Recommended amount is once every 1-2 weeks Tip: top inch of soil should feel dry before watering again

2. What soil to use?
Use well-draining soil, a cactus/succulent potting mix is great. Succulents grow best in sunlight.

3. How to fertilize?
Our succulents do not require fertilizer. However, if you are looking to optimize your plants growth over time you can fertilize every few months. Be careful not to use a fertilizer that is too strong as it can burn your succulents. Look to use a fertilizer specifically used for Cacti and Succulents.

4. The plants can survive without roots?
Sure, they can. Old roots can not absorb water, so please remove old roots completely and wait for new roots to grow out. Only new roots help the plants to thrive.

5. When can I plant them?
Please open the box, and get out the plants immediately. Remove old roots and rotten leaves, and put them under half sunlight to wait for new roots. You can slightly spray water if the plants are too dry. Please plant them when the new roots grow out.

6. Some bottom leaves are rotten, is it ok to survive?
Yes, please remove the rotten leaves, the plant can survive as long as the stem is healthy.
